Some brands are born from a business opportunity. Krydn is not one of them.
Krydn was born from something much older and more personal: a lifetime surrounded by art, an honest search for what makes us human, and a heart — literal and symbolic — that took years to find its final form.
Growing Up Among Brushes
My background is in acting. For years I lived in that world — interpretation, character, emotion on stage. But there's something acting and painting share: both demand that you look deep inside yourself and bring it to the surface.
I grew up surrounded by art. My mother, Norma Jadra, is a painter, and the visual language was part of my life from the very beginning — not as something distant or academic, but as something everyday, alive, present on the walls of our home, in conversations, in the way we saw the world.
Over time, that language called me in a more direct way. I stepped away from acting as my main path and dedicated myself to visual art — to painting. And it was in that process where everything began.
The Heart as a Destination
I didn't choose the heart as a symbol through calculation. I arrived at it.
After a couple of years painting, I started noticing that I always returned to the same place: the heart. Not the romantic or decorative heart, but the heart as a root. As the place where the good and the bad live, the light and the shadow, the fear and the joy. The engine we all share, no matter who we are or where we come from.
I spent years painting hearts. Exploring their shape, their energy, their contradictions. Each piece was a conversation with something we don't always know how to name — but that we all feel.
And I'm still painting them.
From Canvas to the Street
At some point in the process, I started working the designs in digital format as well. The exploration that had begun on canvas found new territory — and with it, a new possibility.
What if this image could live on clothing?
I made the first pieces almost on instinct. A few hoodies with heart designs. I wore them on the street without much expectation — simply because I liked them, because they felt like they said something.
The response from people changed everything.
People would stop. Ask questions. They wanted to know what the design meant, where they could get it. There was something in that image that connected instantly, without needing an explanation. The heart speaks for itself.
That's when I understood this could be something real.
The Iconic Heart and Everything That Followed
I committed to pushing that creative process further. I explored shapes, variations, different interpretations of the same symbol. After many iterations, the Iconic Heart was born — the design that defines Krydn and became the starting point for everything else.
Every collection that followed — Nova Heart, Atomic Heart, Cosmic Heart, Metamorphosis — is a different exploration of the same core. Designs for different ways of seeing the world, different personalities, different moments in life. But all with the same intention:
To remind you who you are. What moves you. What scares you. What brings you joy.
To remind you that you have a heart — and that it connects you to everyone else.
Why Krydn Exists
I didn't create Krydn to make clothing. I created it so that clothing could say something.
We live in a world where we communicate constantly, but sometimes the most important things go unsaid. The heart — that invisible engine we all share — rarely shows up in everyday conversation.
Krydn is a reminder. A symbol you can carry with you. A way of saying, without words: I am human. I feel. I exist.
Because when you wear Krydn, you're not just wearing clothes.
You're wearing the heartbeat.
